Applied training in visual communications.

Specialization and choice of professional direction: Graphic design / packaging, advertising / publicity or multimedia / animation.
THE APPROACH
26 hours of weekly classes. Learning of graphics arts techniques – Research and methodology.
This is clearly a year of transition. The student studies new subjects and works on projects alone and as part of a group. The working atmosphere is radically different.
The exercises proposed are no longer approached simply from an artistic point-of-view:
Teachers now try to bring more professional types of practical skills and considerations into play (technical constraints, constraints relating to content, time, budget, etc.).
This year is built around 26 hours of weekly classes in the fundamental principles of visual communication: Text and image, as well as their various applications.
Our teaching programme proposes a combination of three complementary approaches: A conceptual approach, technical apprenticeships and graphic research.

THE APPROACH
23 hours of weekly classes. Project and choice of professional direction (majors) – Self-sufficiency.
The student chooses which professional area to major in: Graphic design, advertising/publicity or multimedia/animation. The pedagogical approach is fully focussed on helping the student to be totally self-sufficient. The student has an opportunity to further refine their knowledge and address all aspects of visual communication.
The major classes focus on teaching students about the economic realities of today's market (marketing, competition, etc.), how to get by in a professional context (relationships with clients and suppliers, production, etc.), and adopting a personal approach to creativity.
The pace of teaching gradually changes to incorporate real experience of working in a company (compulsory course of twelve weeks within the same entity) either in France or abroad.
